Introduce
Volcanic agglomerates refer to the magma that is broken into rocks larger than 64mm by volcanic eruption. If the rock is still liquid when it comes out of the crater, it will form smooth particles, which are called “volcanic bomb”,the rocks formed by cementation are called agglomerates, which are mainly exposed in volcanic areas near the craterswith strong eruption capacity, such as Chiyu, Yantun Hill, the north shore of Niaoyu, the marine erosion platform next to Dongji Port. The specimens collected by this center are from Dongjiyu.
