Introduce

It consists of coral detritus, seashell fragments, foraminifera shellsa small amount of silica sand. Seashell sand, also known as calcareous sand, is the debris that grows in the sea after coralsseashells dieare washedbeaten by the wavestides for a long termdestructedabraded by huge windwaves when a typhoon strikes. Then they are pannedtransported by seawaterdeposited in the intertidal zoneon the coast some even accumulate to become sand dunesislands. Beautiful sandy beaches are found not only in Shili sand dunes, Shanshui Beachbeaches around Lintou ParkAimen, but also in the spit, dangerous reefs of Jibei Islet, Pengpeng Beachthe beach of Xian Village, Wang-an Township. Those white sandy beaches are indeed the best places for swimmingsand sculpting activities in midsummer. The seashell sand collected by this center is from the coast of Wukan Village, Magong City.
